Yeah, NorK armour is...underwhelming to say the least. It is painfully obvious the K2 was developed and procured with China/Russia in mind, rather than any response to the NorKs.

This is April 1945 Germany levels of pilot competence. They literally can't afford to do better for their best frontline aviators? Yeah... I assume a fear of defections and an unwillingness to run what is left of their planes into the ground are major factors. Not that more training would help them...

The most dangerous scenario would be if they sent up some MiG-29s to intercept and also used their S-200 sites. The defenders would be limited in options because directly trying to engage the MiG-29s could bring them over the kill zone of the S-200 and make defending against the MiGs that much hard...
