I think that he meant that hypersonic speed is no longer useful against missiles.

Meh. I'm really surprised that modern COIN planes are so terrible. Seriously, can't we get the equivalent of a freaking A-1 Skyraider with modern avionics and engine? was this one ever used? pSSosDM8yG4 Argentina had (static) Roland in the Falklands, Iraq had both AMX-30 and MAN truck mounted Roland in the Iraq-Iran War and the Gulf War and I expect the French had it in the Gulf War as well. Yup, it's a tandem charge. Either the same round or a round very similar to it fitted in the Ikv 91, which also had quite a good FCS. Sweden should have absolutely god-tier tank killing potential at 1750m, although admittedly you'd need to create a new Ikv m/84 so that the current cat C one doesn't...
