Re: In case you missed them..

I hope that one the german FCM 36 variants will be in game. This tank was so great IRL (and dat look bro).

Almost makes me wish we had a 1940 SD.

Re: Bug/Inconsistency Thread.

Hmm. I see. Thats how it is. It is sad - this game has potential - but it seems Eugen has other priorities. (I am aware of Steel Division) I know that the list on Page 1 is growing and growing - but it shows that people "care" for this game. They find mistakes and report them, so that the...

Re: World news thread

The language barrier is probably a huge problem here. Hell, look at how much info there is for modern Japanese armor... Yeah, that is a big part of it. It doesn't help that lots of IJA records were destroyed at the end of the war, so there is a lot of stuff we will likely never know. The picture ma...

Re: In case you missed them..

IIRC there will be enough variety in the Axis roster. Along with the obviously different gameplays between armored, mechanized and infantry divisions (like the "static division"), there will be some differences when it comes to equipment. 12th SS Panzer will probably have s.Pzb41 and more ...

Re: In case you missed them..

I believe that the 12th SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend in Normandy (featured in game) had some s.Pzb 41 so as SD will be very realistic we will probably see such weapons in game. That would indeed make this game very unique by adding not well known weapons (which is IMO a great addition compared to...

Re: Armor and penetrations

From what I heard SD will use a sort of dynamic pen system based on authentic values that will model ricochets. All weapons will be able to shoot at any armor value to supress the target but they won't do any damage if they don't have the power to penetrate the armor. However once there's a penetrat...

This is an M36B1. You have the characteristic Sherman hull. Interestingly enough this one uses the later A1 variant of the M3 90mm gun with a muzzle brake.

Re: Why does West Germany get shafted so hard in this game?

Yugo recon infantry is similar, 5 man regular and 2 man elite (but with a nicer sniper rifle). At any rate, I support the Hawk introduction to Germany. It is literally the go-to option for Blufor, but Patriot? No way in hell. Another interesting thing is that the Hawk HEOS was also used by Germany.
