Re: 76 mm vs 17 pounder performance

Return fire from tanks is reasonably effective in this game, it also reduces 17-pdr accuracy through suppression, and players also have the un-historic ability to call in fast precision attacks from aircraft on top of fast-lock precision artillery fire. So I doubt that nerfing the 17pdr accuracy is ...

Re: Should aircraft be repairable when ground units are not?

It's a good point. Compared to Wargame, ground units cannot be repaired and the AA options are less powerful, but planes can repair themselves. I'd be worried about facing a team of players who coordinated their bombing runs well enough to kill all of one player's support weapons at a time, since th...

Re: Why would you ever use a medium tank?

So aside from that tediously "special" person who wants us all to know that he's so amazing that even Panthers fall victim to his Shermans, we still have the issue described in the OP. The PzIV and Sherman M4A3 aren't cheap enough to be able to risk too brazenly, but they aren't good enoug...

Re: Why would you ever use a medium tank?

If only tanks in this game had a "reverse" order that lets them point their frontal armour at the enemy while moving backwards... I'm assuming you played against somebody who purchased the game yesterday and played 1 match and this is your proof that Shermans are good against Panthers :rol...

Re: Why would you ever use a medium tank?

Technically speaking the UK 15th has no heavy tanks either, only infantry tanks which "could" class as heavy however they are not intended for fighting enemy tanks, only infantry which the honeys do fine (big reason i suggested giving the churchills bocage crossing power ^^ so they can do...

If you want to get slaughtered by Panthers, sure.

Why would you ever use a medium tank?

It seems like the meta is going to be heavy tanks + assault guns and other stuff. But why would you buy medium tanks at their current prices? They are rolling death traps. For tank battles you want Panthers and Jumbos. For infantry support, you want light tanks and self-propelled assault guns since ...

Re: Why nerf the Su-122 price?

HE 5 is pretty LOLwut for that thing. Nerfing the HE by 1 would have made more sense IMO. I kind of agree although that would eliminate the only thing that really sets it apart since many Soviet tanks have 4 HE. Given how people have taken to using the ASU-85 instead, I wouldn't say it was the HE v...

Re: POLL: NEW MAPS FOR RED DRAGON.

People should vote for Dual Field simply because we don't really have an open non-river map like that in RD.
