Re: [DevBlog #03] 21. Panzerdivision

Germany having low numbers of Tiger I (were they even deployed here?) It rather depends on where you mean by 'here'. There were reasonable numbers in the eastern (Commonwealth) sector of operations but there were few to none over on the US end. Between the Fireflies, the Challengers, the M10s, the ...

Re: My two cents after watching Paradox's first stream

I like the gameplay, however... Dynamic Frontline = No go for me. At least make it visible and more transparent, instead of a Blue/Red line across the battlefield. Just crossing my fingers they put the destruction gamemode in, and conquest... without the frontline. Perhaps I'm not understanding you...

Re: [DevBlog #2] The Dynamic Front Line

Suffolk, VA is the largest city by land area in VA, 14th in the country. Suffolk and Norfolk are 20 minutes apart max. I got it up on Google Maps and noticed the actual borders of the 'land area' of Suffolk include: A chunk of Chesapeake Bay, about a third of the wonderfully named 'Great Dismal Swa...

Re: [DevBlog #2] The Dynamic Front Line

That's not an entirely foolproof method given that that's the British (original) way of pronouncing it too  . I'm actually impressed that an odd pronunciation like that has managed to stick around, New Orleenz got the chop and there should have been many more locals there who would know how to...

Re: World news thread

I was referring to Australia's population of Xenophobic people and nanny types who think censoring games and movies is the right approach to curbing violence. UK also has some xenophobes, and the muhbrexit has many angles to it, a topic for another day. ...Do you mean to say that the US sho...

Infantry : Elite para-commando : MP5, FAL, FNC, Minimi, Mag, FN M2HB, M72 LAW, AW, Hafla DM34, MILAN, M19 60mm (for the game : FNC-M72 LAW - MAG) Paracommando didn't use hafla. They had a grenade to place on the end of the barrel of the weapon. Faster to use than hafla.Only line infantry and TTR us...

Re: how to flank ?

I had one 10v10 where a player had a mixed NATO support deck. He massed 203mm arty till he had about ten guns. Any time we would call for arty, it was like we just deployed rods from God because it wiped anything out. I called for arty on three T-80Us in a treeline. About 30 seconds later, nothing ...

Here we have a place called Eugene pronounced "Ee-geen" or "You-geen" depending if you grew up there or not. The easiest way to tell if someone is from around here is ask to to pronounce either Norfolk or Suffolk. Most people not from around here will pronounce it how it's spell...

Re: World news thread

things were 20 seconds between shots for trained soldiers, the terrorists would probably be better off with a knife anyway. Besides, everyone knows the British grease their black powder cartridges with pork fat  . Hopefully they don't learn how to perform volley fire to imitate assault rif...

Re: Will you buy Steel Division?

I might buy it but engine is like in wargame and zoomout is the same... wich is for me (and several of mine friends) a game breaker becouse you actually don't see your units and fighting but instead everyone plays far zoom out and all you see are icons. Basicly Eugen, you have a gorgeous game that ...
