Re: Realism, win conditions

Realism is not a body count competition. The only real scenario I can imagine that working even remotely realistically is a War on Terror game. Even then. Only one side has body count as a loss condition and the threshold is terrifyingly low, the other side loses when... the first side has an infan...

Re: "light" riflemans ridiculosity

Sorry for the digression but isn't the Super Dragon's AP undermodelled? Yes it is, but equally it shouldn't be operated by the US or the Netherlands given that it was a Swiss weapon. Light Riflemen '90 should get Topkick, the Ford Aerospace entry to the AAWS-M programme, which is basically like Spi...

Re: tRifling Issues

Pretty much the above, but on the basis that it basically doesn't matter picking an AR platform is boring as hell and I'd go with FAMAS. There are no wrong answers so if you like QBZ-95 or SA-80 or something better then you do you.

Alright, I'm confused.

Inside Joke of the forums.

I understand that the Ariete's frontal armour is made from advanced composite layers of pasta, meat-tomato sauce and white sauce. I do not understand how lasagne is a noodle. Unless you hold it sideways, I guess.

Re: Flight sim advice

I look more forward to the Mi-24P, though it's a shame we can't get the Mi-24VP (give the gunner something more to do than guiding missiles). To be fair the Mi-24P is quite a lot easier and more fun if you have no friends. That feels like it should be an important consideration for these things. Be...

Re: Thoughts on artillery mechanics and how to improve them

The obvious NATO fixed AA emplacement, if we are to have a generic one, is the Oerlikon 35mm. Damn near everyone operated those things. They're already statted up in game on the Gepard, Guntank and Marksman. I'm not sure what the equivalent Pact system is though, the only two things I'm coming up wi...
