Re: West-Germany (or hoping without hope)

- Leopard 1 series ROF to 13RPM (no, I shall never give up on this... ever.) Based on what this insane ROF? Long story short, I asked a few ex-Leopard 1 operators (German army) years ago because I wanted to hear something definite and out of first hand and they confirmed this and even explained why...

It all started with Lance and Verkenning.

Re: Increasing player base in WG4

Yeah, if I were a new player coming into Wargame: QUADratic Function with an unlock system then I'd be very annoyed (dare I say demoralized?) when I get beaten in my first match by someone using units I don't have. This doesn't even necessarily have to be better units than I have, because as a new p...

Re: Broken Stuff that Needs Fixing ASAP

I mean, who would be crazy enough to give 24 AP to the swedish RR ? 16AP would have been neat though. The pen was 800mm, right? Yup, it's a tandem charge. Either the same round or a round very similar to it fitted in the Ikv 91, which also had quite a good FCS. Sweden should have absolutely god-tie...

The grenade launcher is fine, totally realistic. It's the fact that it's a transport that's bollocks.

Re: Broken Stuff that Needs Fixing ASAP

Before we go charging off on this one again, how sure are we that all BMPs aren't using the modernised 400mm RHAe round? The introduction dates quoted in Wargame are usually bollocks anyway, at least after three games and God alone knows how many patches to the BMP-1.

Re: No C-300 ?

How about S-200, it's still fine and in time frame. Did they maybe have more S-200 system to operate outside of their borders? SA-5 Gammon? The one with a 300km range? The one that needed to be concreted into a prepared site, was entirely for defence against strategic bombers and if my experience i...

Re: Fine-tuning NK/China

A really nice option for Good optics armed recon though, if that's vaguely doctrinally realistic. Or even if it isn't honestly. A portion of the produced Z-9 in 80s-90s were artillery spotters, whether this can count as recon in eugens eye, i don't know. More dedicated recon variants with sensor po...

Re: Fine-tuning NK/China

In time frame? A transport or different role? Would definitely be interesting. Absolutly, the general loadout pic should be somewhere in thie thread, was just unsure whether asymmetric loadout was done or not. Apparantly it is, even though, it is on a Z-9WA, but the normal Z-9 in the 80s and 90s ca...
