Re: King Tiger armor vs Jumbo armor

I'll dispute that again. The Brits and Canadians were using Fireflies to knock down church steeples at 1500-1800 yards in Normandy, and the 17pdr was the only western allied gun that allowed them to engage panthers and tigers at close to equal range. That round was travelling at slightly over 2800f...

Re: #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

This is what happens when people think both sides of any argument have equal merit. Actually it tends to happen more when you first dont even say the other side exists, and so dont point out how they are wrong and then let them take over key positions so that they can then introduce their side unop...

Re: AEC III role possibly incorrect?

You may well find that the Staghounds were used as communication links. Brit/Commonwealth doctrine is to have a communications linkage role as part of the overall role of motorised/mech recce units...supplementing the radio net by mobile retransmission, etc. It's a hangback to the role of light cav...

Re: World news thread

Complaining that Star trek is liberal is, well, frankly retarded. Thats the thing though, historically things like star trek and comics etc have been fairly liberal, its what makes me suspect overall on the situation. To me it looks more like they are taking a tiny bit of the criticism and "us...

Re: AEC III role possibly incorrect?

Sorry to spam the thread, but I did more research into the armored car regiment used with the Guards division. What they had were those currently in the division ingame, but also had staghounds and daimlers, another way to make the division more "versitile" and realistic would be to give t...

Re: World news thread

Eh, only thing i have against it is how they were doing the "look how progressive we are" shit and how they aimed to make a star trek where diverse cast was the important thing.... over scripting, and a good team, and such like.... If they just went "yes the leads are female, meh"...

Which is why communists and nazis hate each other so much, they fight for the same people

Re: AEC III role possibly incorrect?

BTW something adding.

Cromwell MK VII wasnt around in normandy as far as I can tell, meaning that AV 7 cromwell should be the only 1 and is "weaker" than the AV 8 AEC, so swapping cromwell to recon and AEC to support gives a slightly better front armour vehicle to use apart from shermans :)

Re: AEC III role possibly incorrect?

As soon as I saw it was about an armored car, I knew who wrote it. Somebody has to speak for the wheels ^^ But I mean, a few others seem to think it a good idea over on the paradox forum so i thought I would make it its own thread over here. There especially seems to be a thing for guards whe...
