Re: Suggest balancechanges here

You still to miss the results of one of the latest tank tender competition what was held in Greece. Even in idealized conditions tanks knew much less that in WG, especially the T-90... What are you blithering about The greek trials did not test the T90..... They did test the T80U and the T-84 T80U ...

Re: Suggest balancechanges here

Since when is more accurate a gun comparing to a GUIDED missile...? Have you ever heard about the first contact of IDF tanks vs Egyiptian ATGMs in 1973...? Where is the link between infantry fired atgm mounted in fixed pre sighted positions vs ISF Centurions that lacked two plane stabilisers or 80s...

Re: Suggest balancechanges here

US tests in the 70s showed the T62 with the meteor stabilisation system first hit about 70% of the time on moving tanks traveling at 20km/h at 1000 metres. Yes, while the T-62 did not move at 1000 m. Have you miss the facts that? ⋅ In WG is no aim penatly against moving targets so everyti...

Re: Suggest balancechanges here

Moderna need +5% ACC. All tank guns are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too accurate. ALB was much better in this era. With 2275 m range and 50-70% base ACC against moving targets? Is this a bad joke...? In RL moving tanks against moving targets firing almost with theoretical hit chance at 2km not mentioning 2k...

Re: Availability of BTR 90 VS BTR 80A

What if I told you there's a thing called a defense budget? It's much cheaper to do a slight upgrade from BTR-80 to BTR-80A/82 than to implement a new BTR-90 which is what was needed when the Soviet Union fell... A cheap solution. The game assumes the Soviet Union didn't fall so funding is availabl...

Re: Availability of BTR 90 VS BTR 80A

The game takes place in 1991-1995 with alternate timeline. I think the logic during this time period was that BTR-90 was intended to be the standard. Why do you guess that? BTR80a and BTR90 were accepted for service in 1994 the latter seems to have not found favour at all in service with only 80 ev...

Re: Availability of BTR 90 VS BTR 80A

I think BTR-80A was a special variant of the BTR-80, while the BTR-90 was to be the standardized wheeled IFV. The BTR-80A wasn't to be the standard, so less availability. Not sure this quite follows as of 2009 the BTR82a is the latest and main production variant. The BTR82a is a BTR80a with increas...

Re: KOBRA..... or should I say KOBRA's... Fixing Soviet GLAT

So as a case study, The T-64BM has had its main gun range increased from 2100 to 2275m (accuracy nerfed from 55% to 50% as the BM is merely an armor upgrade over the B..... I think). Missile has been changed to the 9M112M with accuracy increasing from 45% to 55% and AP decreasing from 20 to 19. Pri...
