Re: Bringing the Frontline System to Wargame

Doesn't sound much different from how things are currently. Most maps you generally only have 1 CV per lane plus one back in the spawn. The issue is that the frontline system would heavily telegraph where your CV is. If only a handful of units affect the frontline, all you need is to draw a perpend...

Re: About the promised buffs to RD

I was talking mainly about the Finnish bushmaster spam, that thing outclasses anything in its price range, be it in the recon or in the infantry tab. The cancer mig-29s, the L-19, Entente vs NSWP availability, Magical 4 AP 30mm autocannons, tzefas killing everything despite being outranged by most ...

Re: Bringing the Frontline System to Wargame

things like whether the controls are snappy or your units are actively fighting you every time you try to get them to do something, whether the game looks good, etc. I guess one thing regarding CV sniping would be, with a frontline mechanic pushed by only one unit per section per side, that one uni...

Turns out there might have been an actual reason for McCains innate rambling as of late, turns out he has brain cancer, poor bastard. "I prefer people who would not get brain cancer." Wow, part of his slogan is "defeat the #fakeindian Elizabeth Warren." Pretty savage. O_o https:...

How about we leave the current time line used in WGRD as is, because we have some pretty solid balance as is with it now.

Re: "light" riflemans ridiculosity

I think there is a possibility to balance the Jav in game. Key word here is think . First off, the targeting unit wasn't as insanely good as it is nowadays (the FLIR in it is so damn good cav scouts use it for spotting purposes). You could argue for it having a bit less range maybe to balance it? On...

Considering how good the season premiere is, I don't blame them.

Re: Bringing the Frontline System to Wargame

It's already kinda hard to sneak units against a well organized and decent opponent, except for maybe a helo around the side. The prevalence of cheap recon units and fodder allow for a pseudo-frontline to develop in RD. The problem with sectors is that some maps have pseudo-frontlines which inheren...
