It shouldn't be surprising. Every country that depends heavily on the price of oil is feeling the hurt.

It's official. The Russian MOD isn't ordering Armatas for now. Even the 100 test vehicles seem suspect based on this.

Will they be marketing it around, then? Have they already?

I don't think there's actually no market for tanks of that caliber on the export scene when you can buy surplus T72B1s, M1A1s, ZTZ96s and Leo2s and be ahead of the curve compared to most nations' tank fleets.

It's much easier to just market and sell Russian aircraft on the export scene.

If they'd had it 10 years ago, half the countries on the arabian peninsula would've fallen over themselves to get the new hotness... I guess that's not a thing anymore though.

And I hope tactical parasols make it over here!

I went with the caption from here:

Can't tell if it's the A4 or A7 with that camo to be honest.

Remember when the oil prices were played off as being beneficial because they could now buy more stuff due to the exchange rate for the ruble being lower?

Yeap, that's indeed a modded Revolution turret but it's also has an L55 gun. That's why I left it with the caption he used in the tweet.

There's this article on it. It does look to differ a bit from the A4 upgraded to Revo next to it here.

You realize that A7s follow the A5s, right? Look at the gunner's sight.

That's simply the Revolution, it is NOT the A7. The Revolution is a modular setup, and you are just looking at 2 different setups. The green one doesn't have the sensors, the "A7" (ie the tan one with netting) does.

Read the link.
