I think Iraq or maybe even United Arab Republic (Iraq+Syria) would be a better, more diversified DLC RedFor Nation. Iran actually bought the technical documentation of Yugoslav M-84As as part of their striving to get a domestic tank.

The deal fell through thanks to the collapse, though.

But yes, basically every engineer from Yugoslav tank program was making a killing in Iran and China throughout the 90s.
The SEAD never bothered me anyway.

SMB Yugoslavia Retexture Mod, now released, v.1.0

What's a good Coalition for Iran though? China? I think they did have some sort of alliance to counter USSR and USA during 70s or 80s

Probably North Korea, they were the only country that openly supplied Iran with weapons, China sold to Iraq.

WRDs timeline, 80-90+, means pretty isolated Iran. Whether USSR nor USA approved islamic revolution and fall of Shah, both supported Iraq during Iran-Iraq War. One state who dont cared about was Northkorea. They cared about money to run their juche state :P Technology transfer is still working today, one can be pretty sure about northkorean missiles.

So i think "The Koksan coaltion" would be appropriate.

It's really too bad this can't take the Shah's orders into account.

We already have NK for pretentious and over modeled, having a western version of the same thing would not add anything quite apart from finding it an opponent. India on the other hand. . .
