Yeah, that's a pretty old missile. The Kub caused some initial problems for the Israelis in 1973, but most of it was because of their RWR's inability to detect that they were being illuminated. Switching tactics and reprogramming their RWRs basically fixed the problem.

The S-200's missile and radar system have been known for quite some time. The issue of RWR being unable to detect a lock is no longer an issue.

The Israeli's would have flattened the offending SAM site if it had hit one of their jets and launched a recovery mission.

Could be down to pilot error.

IIRC an F-16 got shot down in Yemen by an obsolete AA gun because the pilot thought there was no AA and wasn't paying attention.

If they'd let loose the S-300s or S-400s, I'd believe. But S-200 vs. F-15I? Yeah, I want some solid confirmation for that please.

Either way, not the first F-15 to be shot down.

"General" is a rather strong word, the thing is that since not all unions are calling for a strike (basically the 3rd largest union doesn't want any and those who does did so since even before the election  ), it's difficult to evaluate how big it will be.

The AfD accidentally i mean...i hope so at least... printed election posters in one district with just straight up a SA slogan on it. "Alles für Deutschland" (Everything for Germany) was among other things, engraved into the SAs daggers...whoops.
Now, heres the thing, pretty much nobody knows that, all the slogans of the NSDAP and its associated organisations (SS and SA) are banned. They accidentally put up hundrets of posters with something just as illegal as "Heil Hitler" on it... again whoops.

So they quickly covered it with "Herz für Deutschland" (Heart for Germany). The CDU candidate called the AfD candidate a "purebreed Nazi". So the smart thing to do if you are the AfD dude in this situation is to of course to stay calm and put out a well though out statement...aaaand they went Nazi.

"We shouldnt forbid ourselves slogans that are this close to life" ok thats kinda fine so far...but then his speaker came along to specifiy that that includes "Deutschland Erwache" a phrase almost synonymous with the Nazis rise to power...You almost had it.
