One month old news, guess Russia likes German engineering after all, aka when you put put the blue prints of a fascist rifle on the statue dedicated to the guy who made the generic rifle of the east.

In fact, the authors were unable to find a single example of a successful S-200 interception in a combat environment. In summary, the chance of an S-200 successfully downing a B-1B or its fighter escort is very low. The system was simply never designed to engage these types of aircraft effectively.

Which is why S-200 were meant to use nuclear tipped missiles, the soviet figured all guidance quality issues could be solved with a bigger bang. 8-)

Cool stuff, btw.

So, yesterday Spain celebrated the Day of Hispanity with an Eurofighter Typhoon crashing after the military parade and neo-falangistas (far right) travelling all the way to Barcelona to start fights and riots...

Nike Hercules was the same way, by the way.
