Forum Rules

§1 Introduction

These following rules are the base for a friendly, polite and constructive Forum community. By using these Forums you agree to the following rules, in addition, the Terms of Service that were agreed upon at registration still apply. Here is a little reminder of those Terms of Service (TOS):

By accessing “Wargame - Official Forum” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Wargame - Official Forum”, “http://www.wargame-ee.com/forum”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “Wargame - Official Forum”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “Wargame - Official Forum” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

Our forums are powered by phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Group”, “phpBB Teams”) which is a bulletin board solution released under the “General Public License” (hereinafter “GPL”) and can be downloaded from http://www.phpbb.com. The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions, the phpBB Group are not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. For further information about phpBB, please see: https://www.phpbb.com/.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “Wargame - Official Forum” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “Wargame - Official Forum” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “Wargame - Official Forum” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.


§2 Message Content

  1. Message content must be the following:

    1. Constructive to the topic
    2. Written in English, unless you are posting in one of the International subforums.
    3. Respectful towards any other user on the board, regardless of how much your opinions differ.
    4. Readable (this means no all CAPS messages and usage of punctuation and paragraphing is obligatory)
    5. Posted in the most suitable subforum. If you are unsure where to post, feel free to contact a Moderator.
  2. Message content must not be the following:
    1. Against the law
    2. Abusive, disrespectful, harassing or hostile
    3. An attack on or bullying of another user
    4. Discussing illegal activities, such as illegal downloading of the Wargame
      series or any other Focus Home Interactive game.
    5. Containing pornography.
    6. Containing racially or ethnically offensive remarks or images.
    7. Providing links to any of the aforementioned content.
    8. Advertising in any way without the authorisation of the Administration or
      Moderation. Links to Wargame team, clan or fan websites and to personal websites are allowed as long as they stay subtle.
    9. Debating the decisions of the Moderation or Administration of the Forums publicly. In case of any inquiries you are welcome to write a Private Message (PM).
    10. Containing any kind of rude or offensive language (including net-speak).
    11. Containing any information from unauthorized leaks of information about Focus Home Interactive or Eugen Systems products, including patch notes and downloadable content.


§3 Account

  1. Your nickname may not contain pornography or hateful, racial and ethnical offense.
  2. Every user is only entitled to one (1) account at any given time. If there is any specific reason why you would need a new account, please contact the Moderation or Administration. To prevent misunderstandings please also contact the Moderation or Administration if two users are posting from the same computer or IP-address.

§4 Signatures, Avatars and Private Messages

  1. The height of your signature may not exceed 100 pixels in height on a conventional display. Signatures may also not contain quotes of other users unless they specifically gave you permission for usage.
  2. Avatars may not contain any pornography or hateful, racial and ethnical offense.
  3. Special rules apply to Private Messages (PMs). PMs must be in accordance with the rules listed in §2.2.a to §2.2.d and §2.2.h. The other rules stated in §2 do not apply to PMs.

§5 Enforcement of these rules

  1. The Eugen Systems forums are under the supervision of Eugen Systems Administrators and Moderators appointed by those. Moderators and Administrators, in their sole discretion, will decide whether Forum content is against these rules and set appropriate actions. Moderators and Administrators reserve the right to deny certain users access to the Forums if these rules are not adhered to.

§6 Notes


Please note that Moderators can’t always see everything. If you see anything that is against these rules, please use the report button (the “!” in the bottom right corner of any post or PM). Moderators do not and cannot read your private messages unless they get reported.

You can find a list of all Moderators HERE. Please note that user “Webmaster” is not an active Moderator but a placeholder account.

If you are new to the forum, please remember that your first two post need to be approved by a Moderator. If you edit your post, you'll need to get re-approved. Also, Private Messages (PMs) can't be sent before you made at least two posts. This is a necessary measure to prevent massive spam attacks and keep the forum a worthwhile place. We understand that this is annoying and would like to apologize for the inconvenience.

Moderators and Administrators may share any of your messages related to forum management for administrative purposes. If you feel the issue is too personal to be shared, please specifically state this in every Private Message and Moderation/Administration will respect this where possible.
