I hope this is the right place to post.
I have around 700 hours in wargame and I play mostly small games with randoms. I really enjoyed all that time but now I feel wargame lost a lot of the fun. After the Israel DLC the games became more frustrating and now, after the reds DLC, one is forced to use a dlc deck to avoid the frustration.

It is simply painful to face a dlc deck. You can still win but it is not a good experience. And if you play with a dlc deck against player using "vanilla" decks, they will ragequit more often than not.

I keep reading players telling that there is no more planned support for wargame. Is this true? Will the game remain like it is now?

Regards.

Statement is from MadMat, they work on their new game(s)...

I don't think there is a WG 4 among them, but who knows... Maybe the AMX-30 line will get their real ammunitions ?

They said that they are working on two projects simultaneously. With one being Steel division, one can take guesses at what could be the second.
The SEAD never bothered me anyway.

They said that years ago. no evidence that this is still the case. Especially considering that they've changed publishers.

Quite possible that they're working on 3 secret projects now

Jokes aside, it would really be a pity if they'd give up on Cold War. I understand that they can't make a "Wargame" title, since it is probably publisher's property, but Cold War as a setting... :(

I know about their new game.

My question was more short-term. What I am asking is if the December patch is the last patch. I find peculiar to drop support for paid content less then one month after release. This is what I heard from other players.

The answer is "no one knows" - probably not even the Dev team. Their focus will be on their new game(s) and post-launch support, and future Wargame support will depend on whether or not Eugen has free time and programmers to devote.

Take heart in the fact that AirLand Battle and Eurupean Escalation both had comprehensive balance patches to signal the end-of-active development for those games, and both games have had tech-support patches released long into Red Dragon's lifespan.
