How to find out like which server has banned you ? if you missed seeing it’s name

Postby DarkKnightz01k » Wed 1 Mar 2017 09:47

I am kind of a newbie here to wargame – red dragon multiplayer only, no offence.

Although, I have played single player against the AI in Wargame – AirLand Battle , quite a lot before, on my friend’s pc in my college.

So , I was interested in wargame and so bought the latest game – Warland: Red Dragon with all DLCs.

Like everyone's First time , mine too,

I tried using Multiplayer for first time and to get the idea of thing – like How they work .
And I think some server whose name I didn’t notice, just banned me from it ,
Now Idk exactly why ?
for may be for simple Join and Leave, when other players were not just coming to join for some time, I was waiting for some while. And then thought to may be try some other server/room rather sitting and waiting forever.

I don’t know which server banned me. it was bit fast and i didn't see the name exactly
So How can I find out like which server has banned me exactly ? , like if there is a “Banned from server list" somewhere in wargame menu . and also How long does the ban lasts ?
so I can know and request them humbly to Unban me ?

Also, I later Google searched and read about banning on wargame to know more And I did came to know some of it. like Eugen server and 3rd party servers.

Right now I am extensively researching and reading some Wargame Manuals and watching dozens of Youtube Videos related to wargame Multiplayer to learn more about it.

Any help shall be appreciated. :)

As you already noted, you need to differ between official Eugen servers and community hosted servers.

On community servers, the owner of the server and people he provided admin rights may ban you at their will. Sad, but true.. their server, their rules. Unfortunately (and because people are dicks), this leads to situations like people getting kicked when they are winning against an admin or people getting banned from the server when the admin doesn't like them. The bans may be of variable time (set by the admin; I fear, often they are permanent), however, they only apply to the respective server (or multiple servers if some guy hosts more than one which share the banlist). The bans can be revoked by admins/owner of the server.
Unfortunately, there's no ban list where you can see from which community servers you have been banned. You only notice when trying to join. Also, there's no list of server owner's you could contact to fight a specific ban or request it to be revoked.

On the other hand, on the Eugen servers, there are no administrators but Eugen. No local bans are applied there, i.e. you won't be banned from one specific server.
However, Eugen does ban people (often after they have been reported here: http://forums.eugensystems.com/viewtopic.php?f=155&t=44575. So, make sure you read this topic and report people who are misbehaving/cheating whatsoever. These bans (depending on your offense) may prevent you from taking part in multiplayer games or deny you access the to global chat.
I'm currently running short on time. Hence, it takes some time until I respond. In urgent cases, consider contacting another mod.

Thanks ! That was quite really informative.

However , it's weirdly hilarious and childish attitude , if owners of community servers ban anyone just for Winning, lol.

But like you said , yes i can understand, since if it's their servers so they can do what pleases them.
May be they just like to play with non-challenging players who often lose more than winning.
What a great way to Deprove gameplay skills.
