I loved this mod and played it for hours. Sucks it's dead now, i don't even play anymore since the normal campaigns blow.

Hello fellow fans of Guggy's "Revised Campaign Mod"!

With the permission of Guggy, I am proud to announce that the mod is now updated and ready to be played again! (As of 18 June, 2017).

With the exception with some of the starting battlegroups, most of the battlegroups in Guggy's previous version have been kept the same. Changes include (but not limited to):

-2-9 INF BTN. "MANCHUS" (Seoul): Instead of Guggy's previous version which made this a US exclusive battlegroup, I combined some of his elements with the vanilla battlegroup. You'll now have Riflemen'90 in M2A3 Bradleys and HMMWV Avengers supporting ROK forces.

-(AI) 567 Marine Div: Added 2x Najin CV ships to support their assault.

-(AI) 2nd Strike Sqd.: Added B-5 bombers to provide CAS

-VMA-23 "bulldogs" : added 4x AV-8C harriers (rocket variant)

If you guys have any questions, comments, issues, or concerns regarding the revival of this mod, let me know! I'm open to any changes to battlegroups if there is a big demand for it, or if Guggy himself (herself?) wishes for it.

Well looks like i get an access violation error when i try and load the game. I replaced all the files with your supplied ones. Took about 3 mins manually. Anyone else get it to work?

Agreed :) I give my absolute support in the handover of the project, and just regret I was unable to keep it updated personally.

When replacing the game folders, are you deleting the entire folders and replacing them with the ones i provided? because that'll be the incorrect way to do it. Just going to list the installation procedure:

Spoiler : :
Step 1: After downloading the Files on Google Drive, go into each individual folder until you reach this.

  1. 430000564
  2. 430000587
  3. 510019512
  4. 510025153
  5. 510064564 READY

Step 2: Open folder 430000564/430000574 and copy the ZZ_win.dat file.

Step 3: Go to your game directory (usually under: /(C:)/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Wargame Red Dragon/Data/Wargame/PC) and go to the same file listed in the previous step

Step 4: Find the Vanilla ZZ_win.dat file and delete that file and paste the downloaded version onto here

Step 4 Part 2: While I usually don't do this, it's recommended that you keep a copy of the vanilla file somewhere on your computer, in case either you either want to easily uninstall, or when you make a mistake. I personally prefer to clear the "Verify game integrity" via Steam, however this may not be an option if you dont have reliable internet or if you mess up to the point where you have to completely reinstall the game (I've messed up this badly before)

Step 5: repeat step 2 and 4 for every other file listed

Step 6: Once all .dat files have been replaced, open start the game

Step 7: ???

Step 8: Profit!

Hey, things happen that get in the way of us from doing what we want, don't sweat it, and I hope we get to see you back in action soon! ;)

Spoiler : :
Posted an update to my Google Drive link.

Not sure if this is what caused any issues with the game, but i realized that in my 510064564 file, I forgot to remove the ZZ_win.dat file and put it in the previous patch's folder. Hopefully this will fix it. I will be playing a test run to see if i can find any other bugs with the mod.

Also, I removed one of the files because I found out that one of them had an additional NDF_win.dat file, which wasn't necessary, as the most recent patch of the game was the only one needed. I'm slowly trying to work it out, I'll probably be making more edits to the files in the Google Drive link to "fix" the issues I caused with this mod.

Alright, I think I simplified it enough to get it properly working again. the description of each of the files in the Drive are as follows:

[*]430000564/430000574/ZZ_win.dat - Contains the dialogue as part of the campaign (as far as I'm aware, the details should be the same as the vanilla file. This is the file you would edit in the Modding Suite if you wanted to change the details of your own 2KW mod)
[*]510051630/510064564/ZZ_win.dat - Contains the language localizations for every unit, battlegroups, and interface's names and discriptions
[*]510064564/NDF_win.dat - Contains Battlegroup formations and every detail of every unit in game

I might have to remake this mod from scratch, seems like im getting too many crashes with the mod.
