The only think i want is......

Destructible Buildings!!

nothing else and it would be competitive.
maybe infantry can not teleport from building to building.

I think it's just visual to be honest. Maybe it prevents the destroyed buildings from being used.

thx mike. it's only visual...

But at all the game needs an active community with a lot of tournaments to keep it alive.
And a competent balance team

I would simply with EUGEN would listen to the community at least a bit more.

From years in wargame forums since Wargame:European Escalation I can only say this:
EUGEN ignores a massive 99,9% of community feedback output and takes great liberties at the remaining 0,1%.

This is very frustrating and made at least the most friends I played with quit the game.

I know its hard to listen to the crowd, especially when it can get very loud and also unfair. But I think ignoring the player feedback on that massive scale lead to wargame remaining in its niche role instead of evolving into a major cold war title with much more players than it has now.

Wargame is a raw diamond which EUGEN failed to polish in several years. This is very sad for both the players and the devs.

Please make it possible to play Steel Division in the way the community likes it best.
Do not just dictate everything like with wargame, EUGEN, please.

I would also like to see a better support for casual players. Especially in Red Dragon I got the impression that only the small competetive conquest community was supported, while the bulk of the rest was just, well, ignored at best.

Maybe, just maybe it would be great to "steal" the SC2 matchmaking system, aswell as the arcade mode.

In the normal mode you play 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 ranked, maps (chosen from a map-pool) and settings are fixed. You can form a team or go alone and get matched against another team or randomers. Prefixed team vs randomers has to be prohibited.

In arcade you can play whatever you want with whatever settings you have, but it wont appear in your statistics. This also limits the "stat farmers", as even if you stomp noobs, you wont get any reward for it.

For the MMR its kind of simple, a win gives you 100 points, a draw 0 and a loss -100. The Matchmaker only searches for opponets within a range of +- 300. Will have to depend on the player base.
