Pointe du Hoc right? I've been there. The land's still all bumpy from the shells, you can see where the French guns were kept and there's still some German bunkers left.

Point Du Hoc was done by a Ranger battalion. The 1st Infantry Division (big red one), landed at Omaha.

The division also turns 100 this year.

Yeah it was 2nd Ranger Btn. backed up by 5th Ranger Btn. which had gone to its secondary landing site at Omaha Beach due to issues at Pointe du Hoc (they are thought to have inadvertently greatly assisted the success of the Omaha landing and du Hoc through this alternative deployment as they helped lead the breakthrough from the beach which outflanked the defenses at DU Hoc) and then the 116th Infantry Regiment from the 29th ID which was attached to support the 1st ID's Assault.
Projectnordic in game! will likely see you on pact/red dragons/french!

There will be riots in the streets if they aren't.

Riot? Nah, I'll just visit EUGEN's office while I'm in Europe this summer and sing this until they give me confirmation, in writing, that it will be added in. I can still boom it out by heart.

Damn right it does. The BRO has a pretty good history going.

Think you have what it takes to enlist into the military? You sure about that?

A little bit off-topic :

The Rock of the Marne is said to participate in the 14th of July military parade in France this year. But this one didn't take part of the Normandy campaign.

Ahh ffs. I just remembered Big Red One from CoD and the fact there's a Pointe mission in one of the CoD games. My bad.

I still have CoD 2: Big Red One. You start off calling in arty strikes, I think your boat gets hit, you come to on the beach. Breach the Atlantic wall then clear out the arty behind the beach.

There wasn't a French Canadian-only division.
Quebeckers units were integrated in regular army divisions, such as the Fusiliers Mont-Royal or Régiment de Maisonneuve in the 2nd Canadian Infantry Division, or the Régiment de la Chaudière in the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division. By the way, this latter regiment was the one of whom might be the most badass WW2 soldier, the legendary Léo Major.

We'll have some French Canadian voice acting to represent them by the way ... 8-)
