Is there a policy statement on... say, reusing W:RD assets in SD? Yay or nay?
The SEAD never bothered me anyway.

You know there are mods of MoWAS2 using WRD mode, so either Eugen is not aware or they don't care at all (for another game than theirs so for their own game it shouldn't be a problem).
