Well now I am having the problem again. Seems like I have everything correct but the mod gen just doesn't load in. My TOKENS will not show up or my new image. Can someone point out my obvious (or not) problem?

This is an old information, now all csv are merged under GameData/Localisation/Modding.csv.

It seems you have some miss-format, it should look like :

Code: Select all

"M_LOADING";;;;"Modding...";;

You have 1 ";" a the end which should not be here.
Be sure to always work in UTF-8 Without BOM by the way, and have windows line ending to be sure everything works fine.

Well, this seems correct, be sure to follow the texture specs and have your mod activated. Otherwise, it's correct and will be odd if it comes and goes.

Not here. My Mods/Modname/Game/Data/Localisation/Modding.csv just has the headers:

This is after creating a new mod as of today. I guess it copies the Modding.csv from Mods/ModData which is also just headers

Ok so I got everything to work. Only thing that doesn't work is my portrait image. Just gives me this error.

File missing : C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Steel Division/Mods/Divisions in Normandy 3.0//Gen/PC/Texture/AssetsModding/Portaits/Charles_Gerhardt_Draw.tgv. Skipped...

Well, the modGen can't find your texture, can you please check all specs on png file, ndf file and if nothing seems wrong, can you send your ndf declaration?

Out of curiosity, what are the other headers for and what effects will changing their values have? I am especially curious about Constraint and ExisteDansSlayer.

These are internally used for translation they don't have any effect in game.
