Yes, the csv file encoding format is UTF-8 without BOM.

Hi! Thanks to this thread I know how to rename units but there seems to be a problem with special characters.. here is an example :

"FlakPzMobW";;;;"FLAKPZ IV MÖBELWAGEN";;;<p>
"FlakPzWirb";;;;"FLAKPZ IV WIRBELWIND";;;

When I generate, I get this :
Invalid value at offset 11 while converting string from UTF-8 to UTF-16.
> 00000000 46 4c 41 4b 50 5a 20 49 56 20 4d d6 42 45 4c 57 FLAKPZ I V M.BELW <
> 00000010 41 47 45 4e AGEN <

If I undertand correctly, "Ö" character isn't recognized.. Do I have to type a code to get this?

Thanks for this info, I'll take note of it for later. This might be the problem for wrinos.

Hello, I'm author of Korean Localisation Mod(W.I.P) in Workshop.
when you edit MODDING.CSV, follow several things.

1. File should be UTF-8
2. File should be Windows CR-LF("\r\n") (when you edit using notepad, it is default. and it will be shown in Notepad++
3. Should not use Excel( Excel cannot read UTF-8 format correctly)
4. usually, in CSV format, items are seperated by column. but MODDING.CSV file use semicolon(';').
5. The important thing is "TOKEN" and "REFTEXT" (case sensitive), other things can be empty
(Like "TOKEN";;;;"REFTEXT";; and "AB_CAMP";;;;"캠페인";;)
6. if item has space then, enclose with double-Quotation Mark("~~~") (recommend use double-Qoutation mark to all item
7. after running GenerationMod.bat, Check "ModFolder\Gen\PC\Localisation\US\Localisation\MODDING.dic" file size

Hi all, I am new here and a author of Japanese Localizing MOD
First of all, I'm deeply grateful that you released the token list first.
My work will proceed smoothly.

I found some problems that My MOD does not work at dialog window of Bootcamp & Campaign well.
I wrote as follow.

The problem was that I asked the question to another post.

The EugenSystems didn't fully disclose the DICOToken information for the mode for localization.
Alternatively, the matching information in the localization.ndf files should be disclosed.
