I mean The AVRE if you fired its gun in direct ie 4 rounds. It would take 4 rounds of the IDF gun.
Drawing its ammo from the same source.

I believe the AVRE has separate ammunition for each 'mode' to get around the issue.

Problem is this:

It now has 16 missiles! And all 16 of them can be used against jets. This is both historically incorrect and messily overpowered. The alternative is giving 4 of each; and that'd be a huge nerf in itself.

Split weapons is not a good way to go with AA.

Just give it back the ~2800m range vs. jets with the existing SACLOS system, no other changes but that, and increase its price a little if the Marshals find it to be a bit OP for 40 points still. Can't imagine it'd be worth more than 50 with that range (it's still very short-ranged for anti-jet roles) but it can be worked out by the testers.

It's just too complicated, it'd require some crazy re-programming of the game, and they'd never do it. All it needs is a small buff, it's otherwise already a very good system.

A good idea in theory if they can do it, as long as they take from the same ammo storage.

And there.
See I wouldn't mind it being 3000m's if it had radar making it killerble by SEAD

But at the moment i dont think i've played an opponent with sead since they figured out they can attack with clusters :)

Or the Soviet Su24mp the one with all the 225kg bombs.

Great, though I'd personally go for 55 cost, max. 2800m is not a huge range; a whole extra 20 points for the sake of 650m extra range on a slow, lightly armoured system already prices it equal to many other, more kitted out systems.

I'd definitely like the Marshals etc. to consider checking this out, and to work out what price is appropriate. Otherwise, I hope we get a bit more availability on these things; their low numbers per card doesn't help with such tiny coverage area.
