Wargame Airland Battle Replay Manager - Available for all

Postby Jeslee » Tue 20 Aug 2013 23:06

Hi all !

WAB automaticaly records all replays and we notice in our Team (Burning Phoenix Team), that it could be quiet complex to manage a huge records quantity (specially when the name and the inputs are limited).

By this way, Roghnar from our team start to develop a small soft to make our life much easier : The WALB Replay Manager !
We have the pleasure to share with all who wants/needs this great software.
It's completely free and you can download it here : WALBReplaysManager
Windows plateforms only (from Xp and uper) !
(Needs Framework dotnet 4 Client Profile, the program will propose you to install it if it's not already done, it's already inlcuded in Windows Seven)

Do not hesitate to report the potential bugs on the email adress specified on "about" section on the menu.

To watch a replay, you have to indicate in first step in which file WAB is installed.
On the menu click on File/Game Directory and choose the file following the exemples as following :

On a 64Bits Windows
HARD DRIVE LETTER:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Wargame Airland Battle

Sur un Windows 32Bits
HARD DRIVE LETTER:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Wargame Airland Battle

We hope that this software could be usefull for some of you.

Enjoy !

Edit : if you encounter any error message during the installation, try to install the soft in administrator mode (selection through a right click on the installation program).

It works great!
I really like that you don't have to launch the entire game to watch the replays.
The only issue I had was that the installer gave me permission error but it was fixed when I ran it as administrator.

Add a quick way of watching downloaded replays and it would be even better.

I also noticed that the download was very slow so I added it to my dropbox: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27664086/WALBReplaysManager.zip
Feel free to use the link.

Too bad it playing replays incorrectly.
If i play my replay from game it works fine, units repat all actions as intended.
If i play my replay from replay manager half of units don't do anything etc.

OK I'll ask Roghnar to chek this point and we'll let you know if we've got any idea or patch.

Ok , I'll make more tests on replays, but i've not noticed those issues before.

Can you send me 1 or 2 replays on which this problem occurs?

I get this the very instant I try to start it.

EDIT: apparently it cannot handle more than maybe 70-80 replays before it crashes upon launch
