Re: Detailed presentation of a new idea for the Wargame series

EWAR aircraft would be very interesting if they reduced the accuracy of radar guided SAM/gun systems, sight range of SAMs/guns and degraded engagement ranges while they were operating. That being said they should not be nearly as stealthy as aircraft such as SEAD such as the EA-6B currently are, if ...

One platoon of M-84s.

That's damn nice, big enough to be modeled but small enough not to be a balance issue. I'd say it's in scope for sure. Doesn't seem to have the same level of CIWS as some of the Warpac stuff unfortunately though.

Re: Eugen Stand to make a great deal of money by teaming up with Wargaming

You can not solidly claim whether or not 10vs10 played more than anything else. This is not enough data to make a claim either way, period. M4jor is just throwing out BS claims without concrete and comprehensive data, and the other side can't provide the same either. Nothing has been proven, nothin...

Re: Fine-tuning NK/China

The only advantage i see in type-80 is the combination of armor+2800 anti helo range+ok-ish suppression. But when it comes to actually killing stuff the iglabus is currently king. Yeah the suppression is probably the most useful part of those things, the suppression actually allows you to get the i...

Re: Fine-tuning NK/China

Zsu-57s backed by igla buses are actually surprisingly viable as AA. While they have to be forward deployed and you lose quite a few, they create a convenient radar immune ADN that is especially suitable on built up/closed terrain maps. Zsu-57 spam is particularly useful against decks that rely upon...

Re: Eugen Stand to make a great deal of money by teaming up with Wargaming

Given Eugen's record of incorporating interesting and immersive campaigns into their single player I am surprised they never came out with a clan wars type of team competition based around a campaign during a finite season. This could have injected a dose of strategy into team based competition and...

Re: Eugen Stand to make a great deal of money by teaming up with Wargaming

Re OP: evaluating decks by unit tier can be problematic, there were times when an armored deck stacked with elite Leo 1A5s with decent air support could steamroll a deck relying on a couple super heavies, Wargame balance is unfortunately very complex, unit access is democratic, discretionary and uni...

Re: Future DLC’s for Wargame Red Dragon

The previous few posts remind me of the issues that come about when nations have to be "viable" to be included. I venture the opinion that while nations probably should have strengths and IRL those strengths could be emphasized through things such as vet/availability for flavour, they shou...

Re: New non-mortar NONA for VDV

Eugen requirement for USSR airborne category is much stricter than other nations like EC The former ingame can drop everything by either il-76 or carried by helo straight to the battlefield, the latter is strategic airlift which is very different So i wouldn't care too much about that, besides, mi-...
