Re: hot patch quick ideas thread

Eugen does not develop the WG. It is left for dead forever. Won't be any patch as I see not especially about such a specific and single request which is not justified by anything. IHMO if ever will Eugen makes a new Cold War game it requires a similar but much more developed engine as the current on...

Re: Wargame: Airland Dragon

Is it possible to make artillery dispersion distance dependent? Yes, but I don't know if there is a way to adjust the accuracy curve. Here is an example of the Czech Dana. You can see how there are minimum and maximum dispersion values, an accuracy multiplier for corrected shots, and something call...

Re: Wargame: Airland Dragon

As long as are in DB unicorn units it does not matter what happened in RL. As long as fully armed Rafales are available 10+ year earlier in RL you can assume USA allowed to export earlier to AIM-9M to everyone. This is the big problem. The ALB with few old and some late proto was much closer to Col...

Re: Wargame: Airland Dragon

Xeno said japan never owned any aim-9m, at least not during the cold war I believe this is correct. After reviewing my notes, it seems Japan only had AAM-1, AIM-9L, AAM-3, then went on to AAM-5 and AIM-9X after Wargame's timeframe. I will replace their AIM-9Ms with AIM-9L or AAM-3s, which would giv...

Re: What is the exact time period surrounding Bagration that SD2 covers? Does it cover any later?

It seems to me pointless the whole game. In case modeling is good the result can be the same what in RL. Total Axis defeat. Only exception is the case of total noob vs expert. IMHO the values are totally inaccurate on this image. The qty. or armored units of Axis side is laughably under the RL qty. ...

Re: Eugen Systems’ next game: Wargame 4 (fully redone)

Too long to read and it is pointless. The engine of WG is totally outdated and for better modeling n+1 factor should be redone with totally different modeling approach as any previous WG. Especially considering AIR tab, ECM values and how should effect and against what. The biggest problem as we can...

Thx. I'm very curious what this can be.
Hopefully is not just a cheap copy of the WG:EE...
