Re: Making Empty Tansports Useful

They would be a lot more useful if rpg's did not always hit you at 700-500m, afaik historical hit rate for firing rpg's at 500m was almost none

Re: Discussion: Early Game Helos

If you are going to play wargame without helo rushing, then you need to delay your attack. In wargame destruction games and especially conquest games are like a game of chess in some regards. The lower the points you start off with and the less income the more chess like it is. However there is a ke...

Re: Buff Autonomy ?

For some reason driving 150km/h uses the same fuel per second as driving 30 km/h. I think most of the autonomy problems would fix if they would just fix 150 km/h as the base decay rate, then divide the vehicle speed by 150 km/h to get an adjusted fuel consumption rate. That would not be ideal but it...

Re: M1A1HA: Could it use a small buff?

The main problem with American armor is not the armor itself. It is the other units in the American deck. Playing USA has always, at least since alb, been harder than playing ussr I think because the US seems to have less flexible unit choices and less multirole units. The tank stats are fine.

Re: This Graphical Glitch is Still Big, Ugly and Everywhere

Ohh yeah thats what we need! Real carters.. my goodness the amount of crater micro in men of war was unbelievable. Shoot arty.. make craters.. hide infantry in it. it was kind of ridiculous but interesting. I can imagine this would be used to put a cv down where it could not be shot. That might radi...

Re: Weren't Auto-cannons supposed to get an accuracy buff?

I personally think autocannons are good. However I do think the high accuracy and high ap cannons like the 40% 3 AP 30mm's are under priced. They are just too good for the low price. I even had one yesterday taking out a leopard 2

Re: Mortars, howitzers and anti-aircraft guns??

The engine doesn't really have the mechanisms to support towed units unfortunately. This is to great detriment of a number of the smaller nations that extensively use towed systems. There are no mods that add this functionality because it can't really be added (the best you could probably get would...

Re: Infantry MG's

I think mashineguns in Wargame RD are not werth the hassle. If you want to kill infantry, does anyone here rely on mashineguns? I really want to know, because maybe Iam missing something. In my experience, Infantry fights are decided by supporting weapons, specialized anti-infantry weapons, trainin...

Re: My everyday experience with RD

90% of games are 3/6 or 4/8 lobbies nobody wants to join. And who's fault is this? it's that these people don't want to play eachother. Why if there are dozens of 3v3 games with one team filled they cannot join together and play? The answer is because they are pub stompers and do not want to play g...

Re: How to use short range ATGM

Personally I only liked to use long range ATGM, which can generally outrange tank guns and get to guide their missile while a tank gets into range. However I've been trying out short range ATGM such as metys, dragon and even RBS-56. It seems that whenever they fire, before the missile is even halfw...
