Re: Eugenomics: lessons learned from the beta ...
+1. "You can't see the infantry otherwise" is a very weak argument considering you can always zoom in. Zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out... infinite loop here... yes funny feature, we all like to have headache when we are playing a game... The zoom level is good like it is. The improve...

The results was this: http://s1097.photobucket.com/user/Anders_Ryndel/media/AoAzoom/2015-05-20_00011.jpg.html?sort=3&o=4 Or, you know, similar to every competent RTS on the planet when it comes to the ability to overview a battle. Compare the minimaps to see the difference. Could you provide a ...

Re: Actual Survey: Will you buy AoA?
[...] There is also the point of view that most people who came here came from wargame and many of them are having a hissyfit that they did not get another wargame successor. Once the game goes early access I believe it will garned a lot more attention from the old school RTS group and the early ac...

Cool. Didn't expected to see the results and your comment on these subjects. I am a bit reserved on the zoom decision and curious about you will make with the resource system. There was some nice ideas in it and I hope you can still exploit it for an innovative feature. I will look at the first Earl...

I don't get your answer which seems unconstructive ... Taking prisoners of war is (UI-wise) neither intuitive nor does it integrate well ... I...

Re: AoA's tone and approach is too cartoonish
My hope is that while AoA is its own game and will have a different gameplay mechanic from the Wargame series, it would use the ranges, proportions, details and animations, sounds, and explosions, etc found in Wargame. They were much more realistic and gave the player a sense that you were in a tru...

Re: Eugen, bye for now...
I'm sure it is jarring for players who are coming from games like wargame and supcom who are used to large zoom levels but compared to most other RTS games, AoA already has a pretty high zoom height. As a SupCom and Wargame fan, I get what you say. Icon fighting at each others may not be for everyo...

Re: The Survey
If you are talking percentage you should also take into account the duration of the game. If you play a 1vs1 game an get early rushed in your base you have spent 100% of your time building your base. That doesn't mean (specifically) that the game was flawed. In the beta we played fast game on small ...
