Re: Rocket Research Help

Necroing because I've got some of the answers 1. Any information on the 6.5 inch RAM/ATAR rocket. Honestly I don't expect much info on this, it was developed in a hurry and dropped quickly. Explosive weight would be really nice. I do have numbers on penetration though. Per OP 1415, the RAM (properly...

Re: I know I'm late...

Realistic squad compositions would be difficult and a balancing nightmare considering some countries run 8 man squads while others run 13 man squads. You will have to create more units in order to show the diffference in loadouts between machine gun teams and heavy weapons squads. Also Im not sure ...

I'm unsure what you're saying.

I know I'm late...

but US light infantry do not do what the game says they do. Light Infantry don't have ATGMS at all. According to FM 7-8, Regular, Light, Air Assault, Airborne, and Ranger squad are have the same composition, squad leader and two fireteams with M16, M203, and M249. None of them have squad-level ATGMs...

Re: Rocket Research Help

You might be able to find it in previous posts as well, this reminded me of a post way back about the surprising lethality of SNEB and CRV-7 with penetrator warheads (ie non-HEAT). Still looking for it but there's a ton of info hiding in here and the ALB forum that's worth digging for if you're hav...

Rocket Research Help

Hey, been trying to research rockets recently and though I'd ask you guys, I've noticed pretty much everyone can pull some obscure weapon/vehicle out of their bookmarks when the time is right, so I figure somebody should have what I'm looking for I've been trying on and off the past few month to res...

Re: Should Mortars be more POWERFUL than Howitzers?(or nobody notice that)

Weren't there any airburst fuse or something ? Only time fuses (VT was US-only and never made for mortars, as for security reason VT was banned for overland use), and the Germans had a bounding 81mm round that hit the dirt, a nose charge blew it back into the air, and then the main charge went off....

Yes but the game uses metric.

So it'd be a 1,814kg bomb then. :geek:
Maybe. In ALB the Mk.82 500lb bomb was 227kg, while the Mk83/84 1/2,000lb bombs were 500/1,000kg

Time for Mosquitos with 2000kg blockbusters.

Re: If the timeline was extended to 1997, what prototypes would become suddenly available?

Shermans would actually vary be between 7 and 15 FAV. Tiger 1s would only have ~11 FAV. And I can't see the Maus being added. 24/20/20/6 armor and 15kph just won't work. Probably have Jadgtiger as top German AFV. Insane frontal armor but weak sides and rear. Well, without ATGM under any bush and AT...
