Re: Helicopter fast roping
But it's out of timeline. *whine* They didn't needed to before 90s. Now, guerrilla was not exactly the french doctrine pre-40, blitzkrieg new to the german, and nobody had though mass bombing cities would ever be a common thing to do. Some people here tend to forget that *This is WAR*, and you don'...

Seriously kids, we all know *your* toy is better than the others. Specialy shiny new toys that you're trying to sell.

2v2 map: 1v1, 2V2
4v4 map: 1V1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4.

Re: Let's talk about the HMMV
I like the idea of an HP increase. It would reflect its insane thoughness (for a jeep), without giving it non-existent armor.
It would also give him a role as a front line cheap transport.
Endurant to small caliber and fast.

Yeah, agree. Delta force should also never panicked, come all in elite status, and win at a ratio of 300:1 000 000

Re: Chinook vs Blackhawk - same price, stupid stats. :D
Weird? How can a game engine not handle a feature? I am not a game programmer, but to have messed up with modding, i don't think being very far from the truth: The data must looks like this {CHINOOK} RANDOM_STAT = X RANDOM_STAT = Y RANDOM_STAT = Z [IS_TRANSPORT] <- this is a tag CREW = {INFANTRY} w...

Drop cheese all around it.
Then drop napalm on the cheese.
When it will roll into the melted cheese, its tracks will get stuck.
You can then proceed to bomb, arty or flank it.

what ever u will put in back ground it wont fit wargame Your spelling and argumentation, however, perfectly fit the intellectual capacity of the random recruit of any wargame. I like the idea of a background adapted to the 80's. Since a first saw it in Supcom, i always find it lacks in large-scale ...

Re: Infantry calibers and upression system
From wikipedia:
5,56 Otan 5,56 x 45 mm 3,95–5,18 g 930–772 m/s 1 700–1 830 J
7,62 Otan 7,62 x 51 mm 9,33 g 838 m/s 3 275 J
The 7.62 is a lot heavier. That means a lot more kinetic energy. That means the bullet is a lot more scary.
