If you're looking for HOI style strategic elements, the ALB and RD campaigns were honestly fairly close to the mark. Their issues lay in how the battles were sort of rushing units at each other and the AI just being garbage at pretty much everything, plus the scale was much smaller than HOI, meaning...

People like it, and even if it’s mechanically worse than the regular game sizes, people don’t exactly play them for the fine tune balance anyway.

They already went back and forth on this on the Discord. MadMat said he’d look into it, but that it did exist during the war, at least on the IS-2.

Maybe you need to get better at mid-late game pushing. If the enemy is safe enough to have a stable front and invest several hundred points into artillery at the same time then maybe you don't really pressure them enough.

There is no specific unit with this bug. Every single transported thing in this game is now some form of generic British infantry. This goes from infantry, to AA, to ATG, to even Aces. There are no exceptions.

Unfortunately, the pool of people that play Ranked is very small. If you consistently queue again after every match, you're likely only going to have the same guy to face. Try waiting ten minutes or so before queuing and he should be gone.
