I noticed that to, and thought about the deck system for Wargame. I would hardly say that lack of customization is "what is wrong with Strategy games today" though. And since when did the opinion arise that there is something wrong with strategy games today? I like the old games, but Ruse ...

I like dlc, but it needs to be substantial. I'd rather pay 25 dollars for a real expansion pack than 5 dollars for a few maps.

I find it hard to believe that they are ready for open beta just one year after the release of Ruse. These guys work fast. I guess its my most anticipated as well, following Ruse. After all, I ordered a laptop the other day primarily so that I could participate in the Beta. (Though Skyrim and Tribes...

Although the combat was pretty slow-paced, the matches of Ruse were very quick, and I loved that. 25 minutes for ranked matches was great. Yea, you needed micro in Ruse, but the micro concepts were so elementary that they hardly count. Juggling decoy and real planes was probably the only part that t...

I'll choose based on the units. The French tanks sound good. I like to use cheap units (spend my money on getting a variety of different types that work together well, rather than spamming one kind) and win by micro.

Sounds a lot more complex then Ruse. I like the idea of building a "deck".
