Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

Your army is so small, that I can bearly see it.
Nice thing about it is that, you can have supplementry vehicles. I presume you need a lot less space to play. When I tried to play TY for the first time, I had a problem to put all these miniatures anywhere to have a nice game.

I know I may be a little boring, but do you consider adding homogeneous movement speed option for units. It this the only thing in gameplay I feel lacking.

Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

Have a look at Peter Pig 's "AK-47 Republic" series: http://www.peterpig.co.uk/ak47.html Eureka Miniatures also has a more modest range, but they usually focus on unsung armies: http://eurekamin.com.au/index.php?cPath=87_102_820&sort=3a Skytrex / Command Decision also has a post-WW2 r...

Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

Which army(ies) are you planning to collect? I've bought basic starterpack ( rulebook(translated) dices, etc.) and starterpacks for US and USSR. All was fair cheap and if I like the game enough, I'll expand US and USSR. The problem is, BF has a very limited choise. For Warsaw Pact You can paint USS...

Re: Anyone here play tabletop Wargames?

I've bought 3 sets of Team Yankee( my first tabletop ever) for this Christmas, any tips for gameplay or paiting? I would suggest Cold War Commander rule instead of Team Yankee. Battlefront is a bit like the Games Workshop of historical simulation: if you like heroes & countless special rules, y...
