Re: Two Exclusive Divisions and Exclusive Units Added to the Steel Division 2 Pre-Orders!

Ugh. Missed the pre-order because I had a kid this year and didn't have time to follow the development of the game. Find out the game came out as a surprise when Steam tells me about it and go to buy it the day of launch, and discover that I'm already locked out of two divisions because I didn't buy...

Re: SPAAG aimtimes (radar 1s > 0.2)

0.2 s beggars the imagination just a bit. You're telling me that the operator can activate radar, slew the gun, and begin firing in 1/5th of a second? I really doubt it. I think there are other ways to buff spaags, eg RoF. I'd kind of assumed the near-instant aim time came from the assumption that ...

I'll admit, I was always more of a Starcraft kind of guy myself. I did like Generals, though- although that only proves my bad taste in the mind of some C&C fans.

Re: Light Tanks and Light Infantry as "Hybrid Units"

Um. You guys do know that all infantry already has good or better stealth, right? IMHO, medium stealth would be plenty for a vehicle, too, if you made that change. As long as they aren't firing, that keeps them invisible until less than 1500m in a forest against VG optics. And in combat, well, steal...

Re: [Red Dragon] Patch (v.61340)

Nice set of changes, overall. While we're nitpicking the low-end tanks, the T-62 could probably use a tiny bit more love. Given that it shipped with a stabilizer somewhat on par with the M60 AOS ( https://thesovietarmourblog.blogspot.com/2015/12/t-62.html ) and that the 115mm cannon that was a good ...

[*]Better survivability (at least 1 all around which makes a difference when bombarded You'll take 100% non-small-arms HE damage with both AV 0 and 1. AV 1 vs AV 0 rarely matters at all against "bombardment". The tung is a little bit tougher against planes and artillery, but only a little...

Re: Maglan

The M-84AN is basically a Leopard 2A1- and priced the same as one- that gets to be VG recon for free. That's nice; while G optics units often cost as much as or less than their non-recon equivalents, VG guys typically pay a price premium. On top of that the M-84AN's endurance synergizes really nicel...

Re: GUN AA Comparison Chart

Burst HE/S means nothing when Vulcan/Pivads have unlimited burst and the latter 2 doesnt. I dont even know what it really means It means that if a plane just grazes the edge of the SPAAG range, a Shilka will deal more than twice the damage that a Vulcan would because until it has to reload the Shil...

Re: What if Recoiless Rifles weren't bad?

That's probably the third of fourth time we are asking for RR changes  . Heh, that's a conservative estimate. It's probably futile, but I'll toss my weapon-stats-adjustment only suggestion from the last one of these we had a month or so again. Light Infantry Norrslandjagare: Price buff to 25 p...

Re: "Superheavy" tank availability

In general, the tanks that you get 3 of are weaker. They cost less than 170, have a lower combined AP + FAV, and/or have an FAV below 21. The Chally 2 is a definite standout, though. The coalitions that get two cards of their superheavy both do so because they don't have a top-tier superheavy, to gi...
