Re: Bulgaria: some aircraft loadout suggestions for wargame 4 and more

you should really post this in the nation thread, since you're just giving a suggestion to part of its armory as opposed to making a comprehensive list of all tabs for the entire country

Re: Eugen employees on strike

Well, I have no idea how over time works for them in France, especially since I think I read FLX, or Madmat maybe? Talking about difference classes of workers by legal definition over there. Apparently they are all executives or something that sounds a touch shady? Sounds like a way to skirt some r...

They all used to be HE, polish, german, NK and chinese.
Then all except chinese were turned into napalm and hence turned into worthless garbage.

Despite its nerfs, it's still probably the best HE MLRS arty in the game

The ultimate Pokpung-Ho! Merkava go home and cry, we've got manpads and dual AGS-30s! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C9cblxjXgAAZMld.jpg Imagine the flavor ... Imagine the SALT!!! In all seriousness though, one of the reasons Merk is stronk is due to 18 FAV, makes it a tough nut to crack for even vamp...

Apache has first flight as 1975, but actual capability, esp mounting hellfires brings it into 80's territory, so way OTF.

I dunno, jerry-rigged 2x 2 Hellfires mounted on a cobra? :D

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

The 1975 hard cap isn't terrible as there are no F&F LRAAMs/MRAAMs and the only PGMs are AGM-12/AGM-62/AGM-65A, Kh-66/Kh-23/Kh-23M, with only the latter of both of these series being really any good against moving tank sized targets. Paveway is also around but it's US only and will not be on a ...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

The 1950s and 1960s won't have any mini-superpowers that surpass the capabilities of majors, like the IDF vs the USA, however there is plenty enough variety of kit to make diverse nations and factions that, when combined by the simplification of arms in that period, will result in improved gameplay...

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

The tech gap is also not nearly as big in the 1950s and 1960s as it was in the 1970s and beyond. But what kind of variety will we end up with? You'll pretty much get USA/GB/France vs USSR I don't even know what kind of state the German military was in in the 1950s on account of occupation zones etc.

Re: Maybe the USMC was right to go with the M103?

Would take some serious research to be able to pick a good timeframe so that it contains a decent selection of countries. OR, do the crazy thing which will be a constant source of shitstorms, drop all reference to RL developments and just model each nation to some abstract power level, irrespective ...

Re: Fine-tuning NK/China

When was the last time you played the game? Gotta play the game to know that 2800 is larger than 2450? I haven't had an issue with Hellfire carriers in years. I slam dunk them with a L-17K. Nobody even buys them, except the Longbow. ATGM plane is so much more of a threat it's not even funny. They a...
