Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

First of of, thank you for your feedback. The idea to individually sent settings on connect seems like a good idea. I will put it on my list, but to be honest I wouldn't expect the update in the near future. Maybe I will have time during the Christmas holidays, but I can't even promise that. I am wo...

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

Will this tool be developed further? To be exact, will it be updated for the new maps? Well, I didn't even know there are new maps :D To answer your question: Maybe I will add the new maps sometime, but I can't promise it. But to increase the possibility: Can you post the Images of the maps and the...

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

Hi, unfortunately there is no RCON command so that the server replies with the server settings like you suggested. I would have to write a separated tool running on the linux server which has its own TCP connection and waits for incoming messages and replies with the content of the config file. That...

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

Can you connect to the server with another RCON program? There is for example a Minecraft RCON which can be used to connect to wargame servers.

Beside of that I could only imagine, that you mistyped one of the fields. Wrong IP or RCON Port are most likely (like the error message said).

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

I would suggest, that you open a thread in this forum and describe in detail what you already tried and what failed. I don't think I can help you very much in that matter :|

Edit:
I see, you already did that without success. Sorry, but I don't think I can help you.

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

First of all, sorry that I didn't reply to your questions. I didn't get (or didn't see) the notification email for a post in this thread. Thats why I didn't answer. Nevertheless I worked on a new version of the tool and can finally release it today: Changelog 0.9 Beta: ⋅ Implemented custom...

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

is it possible to get the variables out of the variables.ini ? To read them? get instead of setsvar? Well, technically it would be possible, but it would need much effort. The only thing I can think of right now is, that you have a program on your linux machine waiting for incoming messages, readin...

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

Hey, I will see, if I can find time for it. Sounds useful.

I actually made some changes already (a few weeks ago), but I wasn't able to fix some problems with the custom ban duration.

Either I will remove this feature in the next release, or I'm able to fix it :D

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

I have a question about RCON protocol. Where did you find RCON protocol specification? I don't know where to start. Can Wargame send any data other then player list? It would be cool to collect and monitor all the data in realtime, make graphs and stuff. I'm typing new application for RCON, same as...

Re: [Tool] Wolfs Wargame RCON

Hm, not sure if I understand your question correctly.
I just split the returning string by newline ("\n"). Thats how i get the players and ids.
