Re: Cheap tanks and cost efffectiveness (build more tanks?)

Tanks just under 100pts tend the be the mainstay of the armored force as they dominate over most units on the battlefield, yet the enemy is unlikely to wield high profile counters like ATGM planes against them. I would maybe put them in stacks of 2 and micro them with a fair amount of effort. I thin...

Harvesting crash?

Got a popup about a crash + coredump and seems RD closed only when I clicked (Ok) on the popup. Possibly the issue mentioned as the terrain harvester crash (with a workaround) in the Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/wargame/comments/4ckmlf/wargame_crashes_at_random/ Was in the middle of a hea...

Re: Games I am officially EXCITED about.

After a mere 5 hours of rigorous training and learning the trix of the pilote automatique … successful auto-hover and first missile launch! https://i.imgur.com/hjqTAro.jpg Taste of victory, bro! Maybe with more training, the missile may reach the target ;) In other news, Popping stuff in ARMA3 (Zert...

Re: The Campaign map

A loading screen plus a swag item in the swag shop - 80" paper print with Madmat's autograph to hang on your wall? Oh, and operational drawing on the map too, prepared by... Well, and think if your loading screen before each mission showed the arrows for that part of the operation. Would be a n...

https://books.google.fi/books/about/The_Bear_Went_Over_the_Mountain.html?id=yOtThPNqKP8C&redir_esc=y Reading the PDF, quite interesting if you haven't read material like this. Could have a few words to say to some of these Soviet officers but maybe there are some practical tips too... Our curren...

The best travel destinations

This kinda looks interesting. Esp. if you're into post apocalyptic stuff / Mad Max (observe spelling):

That ELEPHANT is a masterpiece!

Re: Games I am officially EXCITED about.

Is this any good? Kinda liked the 20 lines or so of backstory. Also their vision of near future weaponry is refreshingly different from say ARMA3 or Eugen Systems. http://gf.sunborngame.com/#fancybox-for-cv-10 (BAKA website redirects you to CV #5, have to scroll manually to #10 to see the authentic ...

Re: Slower game option

I wouldn't be surprised if somehow engine isn't handling game speeds well. For example, you can't browse through replay (although you can slow it down) with scrollbar, who knows why. Might always be a few things hardcoded around it - we do have it in WG:RD replays though. I understood the replay th...

Re: Games I am officially EXCITED about.

ARMA 3 turned 5 yesterday... and guess what, they have a sale: https://twitter.com/Arma3official/status/1039950280996147200 You'd pay a bit less than I did , most of the stuff is -66% off. Actually, bundles change the picture a leetle bit, didn't notice the Apex Edition: arma-180913.png You'd ju...

Re: Games I am officially EXCITED about.

The best games often are the quirky ones with long, challenging learning curves. I'm just about ready to declare ARMA3 the best computer game ever made, or at least, second only to the phenomenal Eve Online. Released over 5 years ago, unpolished and without much content - a partial campaign and just...
