Bug report: Bef. Panzer III H
I've discovered a bug where the Bef. Panzer III H, when given an attack command against a unit, will move within firing range/LOS and then turn to show side/rear armour, even against targets which have an AP value and can damage it. This bug doesn't seem to happen 100% of the time but still occurs o...

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong
-- Please make infantry auto-retreat like tanks when taking fire while pinned down. It would be realistic and consistent with vehicles auto-retreating and also a lot more useful and less suicidal than what it is for the vehicles. -- A lot of information has been hidden or abstracted once again. Thi...

Re: 2nd Infantry Indianhead
2nd Infantry, 101st Airborne and to a lesser degree 3. Fallschirmjäger completely dominate 1v1 atm. Partly due to maps being unbalanced and party due to bad design decisions which make a lot of other divisions nonviable (Ram II / 40pt vet 1 8 Ap atg anyone?) I don't have a problem with the maps, mo...

2nd Infantry Indianhead
So, this div is a serious problem. It's been an obvious problem ever since beta. I've tried looking at it from every angle, but it;s just so so strong as a division. Strongest phase A div in game? Doesn't really fall off, aside from the infantry slot nerf. Gets so many 'special units' units in phase...

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong
King Tigers are high reward, low risk units because they are pretty much impossible to kill from the front, and tanks turn around way too fast and accuracy is way too low to flank them and hit them from range. They don´t need to "pay for themselves" by killing enemy units if you can just ...

Re: CMP Tri-Polsten, brokenly good?
From my experience against them I believe they still need nerfs.

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong
Personally, while I love SD and find it more playable than Wargame, I think it is starting to show one or two problems Wargame had. Specifically, low-risk high-reward units that pulverize the opponent. King Tigers and rocket artillery, for the most part. It does not help that the main counter again...

Re: Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong
Hang on, you are saying you can't justify using AA ingame, except for '88 types due to the dual purpose role, but complain that AA isn't powerful enough? Not 88s type, literally only the 88. Every other piece of german anti air seems utterly useless against ground units. The 88 is actually one of t...

Feedback: What Steel Division gets right and what it gets wrong While very similar to the wargame series in some ways I'm finding Steel Division to be a refreshing experience. I just wanted to provide brief feedback of some of the new mechanics for discussion! :) Dynamic Infantry design The trend aw...

HMG team black magic
So HMG teams have to be some of the most underrated units in the game. They're also really hard to deal with due to a tiny little overlooking in their design. Why can heavy machine gun teams fire their MG under 100 metres while rifle infantry units are magically prevented from firing their light mac...
