Re: Conquest without income - Best of both worlds

What is the proposal - a no income conquest tournament, no income vs med points conquest or conquest vs destruction?

Re: Increasing player base in WG4

I don't know why co-op campaign never took off, maybe not enough players were online at the same time - I'm replaying the ALB campaign right now and it's much better than I thought.

Re: Conquest without income - Best of both worlds

In Rasputin and Ataka told me in no uncertain turns they will not buy a WG4 without destruction. Deleting destruction will instantly kill the game, Feel free to do a test, Mat. I am not responsible if you go bankrupt. I see no reason why they would do that - destruction is the original game mode, t...

Re: Conquest without income - Best of both worlds

I made a thread about this a couple of years back because I felt that conquest was dying out. I've also talked about making the game less static, and in my view there's no quick fix. Conquest is more like blitz mode - I do feel that it overemphasises openings and in my experience the majority of mat...

Re: Conquest without income - Best of both worlds

You can already play conquest with no income.

My understanding was that the proposed game mode would have zero income as a rule, possibly with redesigned maps. Siege was basically destruction except one side lacked a spawn point.

Re: Conquest without income - Best of both worlds

Some missions in EE were like this, the objective being to get from A to B without dying. I can't see it replacing conquest but it could maybe exist as a derivative, as siege was to destruction - problem is few people play conquest as it is, I suppose it got a second lease of life once it was adopte...

Re: West-Germany (or hoping without hope)

What does the A1 upgrade actually represent given that as far as I can tell it was only an added laser rangefinder but ends up being a huge buff to gun accuracy and the ability to fire on the move? The Gepard doesn't have a stabiliser, the LRF serves as a backup in case the radar gets messed up. I ...

Re: Broken Stuff that Needs Fixing ASAP

The rule is pretty simple, 30mm penetration is 1 AP. If you have a round piercing 300mm, it's 10 AP. The M60A1 has 11AP and that's using either the M392A2 or M728 which are around 225mm-250mm. M60A3 and M1 have 13 AP and they both use the M735 which is 300mm. XanderTuron wrote: The armour and AP on...

Re: Broken Stuff that Needs Fixing ASAP

Welp, looks like I was partially wrong, there was no rule for 1981-1985 guns: They obviously made a few exceptions to the rule with the Magach and Finnish T-55s. Israel did have the M-426/DM-63 but it's post-1991 (Leo 1A5 NO2 uses this round). For instance at 2000m: - the 1982 AMX 30B2 had the OFL ...
