Re: Great Escape bonus objective is BULLSHIT

So I have a fairly large amount of units unlocked for the PACT deck in the campaign (see: every tank and helo and almost all the logistics vehicles available at this mission) I also meticulously plan my strategies in every campaign mission to lose as few units as possible, and as such I have only l...

Re: Combat Engineers?

true, but this HAS already been suggested in the suggestion thread, by me. However the mods are right, this is a game based on the fact that two armored forces meeting head to head; two fast moving armored forces, each witht he intent of breaking htrough at one point and encrlcing the opposition. W...

Re: Request Dutch subforum

I thought you might be interested in that document: http://fly.hiwaay.net/~tiller/glenn/ngp/NN_WinterWar.pdf It is a short but quite detailed study of the Dutch Army for a wargame scenario set in December 1985. In every single account about Cold War Dutch troops I've red, including this one, they m...

Re: Combat Engineers?

Helicopter/vehicle/artillery deployed mines could work semi-realistically. Modern fast deployable mines usually have a timer so your own troops don't get hurt. No sense in mapping the minefiled, like they used to in hand made minefields, so another reason for a self-destruct mechanism on a timer. Gi...

Re: General rant on forums overall.

Free speech, right?
My concerns are not your concerns. That doesn't mean people can't express those concerns.

Why the offensive "sod off" remark? Elitism much?

Please tell me which categories (player types) are allowed to post?

Re: Accuracy Values Explained in %'s and more

Here it is, the big badass table with every level of accuracy for every type of target with every type of gun etc... etc... Also, stabilizers should not give an accuracy bonus. It should decrease the penalty for firing on the move instead. Yes and lucky us, that's what they do. Veterancy should not...

Re: Accuracy Values Explained in %'s and more

Still no real answer from Eugen what veterancy does. It affects reload speed. But does it also affect the reload speed of auto-loaders? It affects missile accuracy. But does it also increase accuracy of radar/IR guided missiles? Also, stabilizers should not give an accuracy bonus. It should decrease...

Re: expensive tanks/helis with defencive mechanism?

In a way, the low accuracy of ATGM's and AA missiles can be seen as the target using countermeasures. some ATGM's (like the american TOW jeeps) have 10 accuracy,........ only tank with this accuracy is m1a1 abrams except that one has only 9 damage when the TOW gets 11 and costs 5.5x more... 10 Accu...

France turned Dutch into German.

http://www.wargame-ee.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3583 Wait a minute, since when are Dutch and German the same language? They are as much the same as English and French are. Or Polish and Russian. "Can we have a Dutch sub-forum please?" "We already have a German sub-forum"...

Re: Veternecy is acting like a stabilizer

Veterancy is a big mistery. Does or doesn't it improve loading times for tanks with autoloaders? Does it improve target aquisition/guidance for weapons which are self guiding? Does it allow you to do damage at longer range (tank main gun)? ^ these are all A-team/McGyver improvements a.k.a. mechanica...
