Re: 76 mm vs 17 pounder performance

6pdr apds would be brutal heh, just looked up the numbers and depending on what angle for the target they take the pen numbers for (i presume 30) it would be either 14-15ap(@30) or 17-18ap(@0). AND thats at 500yards(457m)! The game seems to use the pen numbers for 0 or 100m ranges. EDIT: side note, ...

Re: 76 mm vs 17 pounder performance

I did some research on the 17pdr and its ammo quite a while back when discussing war thunder and its implementations of the british vehicles, if i remember right the APDS ammo had severe accuracy issues due to the sabot sometimes failing to disengage from the penetrator, but this issue was limited t...

Re: Jumbo and Panthers front armour comparison

Why i say its impossible to understand, from the Pov of a new player, is that its not explained anywhere as far as i know and the importance of experiance as well varies depending on the accuracy of the unit, so that makes it even more weird.

Re: Jumbo and Panthers front armour comparison

It's not like in ALB. It's based on 2d6 rolls. 5 ACC means the game rolls two dice and if the result is less or equal 5 it's a hit. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Aj5ChdgJN_o/SZjeg-QGPxI/AAAAAAAAA28/EbwEO76-yaI/s320/dice_9d2.png 5 means 27,78% Each shot at the same target increases ACC by 1, it resets w...

Re: War Thunder

I just want to use some of the unique designs, like the nelson battleship with its all forward main battery or the furious class KV2 of the sea (two 18 inch guns on a cruiser with tecnically smaller but heavier shells than the yamato).

Re: The British Army (Circa 1995)

So, enough with the semantics, what is the excuse for british tanks being so over priced and/or inauthentically nerfed for so long in comparison to their peers?

Re: Just noticed this: Super Etendard

Its manually guided with a visual feed, not the TV guidance you're thinking of. Its range only works against ship targets in reality, because ships are a lot bigger than tanks. Also, you just ignored half of my posts and didn't address them at all so your comment about me being told I am wrong mult...
