Yeah, sorry about that... My original post wasn't an invitation to a debate, it was only statement of my views on that subject. But I guess it is a slow day for everybody with all this interest in my rant.

Re: Wargame: AirLand Battle unveiled in its first in-game te

To Bogdan M: So I guess you have never bought a game where you needed the prequal to play the sequal? From a marketing standpoint it makes sense to me. One can have both games and play either one at their choosing. Whether WALB is a completely new game or just an addon makes little difference to me...

Re: New Urban Combat in Wargame: Airland Battle

^The things you listed will most likely find their way into the game, as those things are the core part of urban combat. It is expected towns to be the primarily playing fields for infantry, but I'm curious to see what changes the vehicles will get to survive inside towns, they should do a better jo...

Re: Wargame: AirLand Battle unveiled in its first in-game te

This whole "they will only pay 40" thing seems pretty self-centered to me. It is. I even admitted it in my first post on the subject. Is not so much that others will pay less for 90% of the stuff, its that I will pay almost double without having any benefits. People who bought WEE at Stea...

Re: Wargame: AirLand Battle unveiled in its first in-game te

It is not a devs fault that you spend only 10 hours ( ) with their product. Why I only spent that much time playing the game is beside the point (it’s still better than stopping after 10h thinking the game was rubish). My issue is that I put aside the game for a few months and when I come back I se...

Re: Wargame: AirLand Battle unveiled in its first in-game te

I don't get you people at all... by this point I had more than 150 hours of fun in Wargame: European Escalation. Spending my money on it was anything but useless... Then you are one of the lucky ones who managed to stick to the game enough to make it a good investment. I on the other hand played th...

Re: Wargame: AirLand Battle unveiled in its first in-game te

Do we count Denmark as part of Scandinavia? If so then where would you otherwise commit Naval Infantry units from the Baltic? You need to remember the long term objectives of the WP, including getting its Baltic naval forces into the North Sea (impossible without control of the Denmark). As to the ...

Re: Wargame: AirLand Battle unveiled in its first in-game te

Er? It's mostly likely going to be a Warsaw Pact Invasion of Scandinavia, so all those countries fit. Poland, Czechs, and other Warsaw Pact states would compose a large part of any invasion, not just the USSR. That being said, the same applies to NATO. Simply because it's a different theater, doesn...

Re: Wargame: AirLand Battle unveiled in its first in-game te

This is most likely going to be a rant so you have been warned! So I'm well aware that it's really late to speak out my indignation but I'll trow it out there anyway. My main problem (which sounds a lot like me being selfish and a douche) is that why are the people who buy W:ALB get everything that ...
