Re: HORRAY FOR TIMESCALE CONTROLS! (And a bit of feedback)

OK, I did a test this morning. The results: 1. On my computer, Bullet Time = Pause. I gave a unit a move order then sat there like an idiot for 2 minutes looking for the slightest sign of movement. There was none. The countdown timer didn't move. Others see movement during BT? 2. Units will indeed r...

Re: HORRAY FOR TIMESCALE CONTROLS! (And a bit of feedback)

I too would like to thank Eugen, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to play the game on slow speed and pause! This has let this old guy with no reflexes finally enjoy the game in the way I've wished for since EE! I only hope that a few beer and pretzel grognards with decent computers will ...

Thanks for sharing! It's always nice to have your preferred play style denigrated.

Stay classy, San Diego!

Re: I heard there is going to be bullet time?

Well obviously, if I want pause/bullet time, I couldn't care less about multiplayer. That would cause all sorts of problems, no? "I want to slow it down." "Well I want it speeded up."

In the original post, I specifically said single player as well.

Re: I heard there is going to be bullet time?

Well all right then! I speak French so I understand that article, and it appears that there is! I'd like to take this chance to publicly thank the devs for listening to the fans on this subject. It's not pause, but it's close enough to satisfy me.

Re: I heard there is going to be bullet time?

Yeah yeah, just a simple yes or no from someone who knows the answer will do me fine, thanks.

I heard there is going to be bullet time?

As one of the main contributors to the massive "pause and give orders" thread, I heard a rumor that there will be the possibility to slow down time in single player Red Dragon to give us old farts time to give orders, then watch the stunning graphics. Is this true? If so, you have just ear...

LOL this thread.

And yes, Eugen, I'm still waiting for pause and give orders. Still.

Re: Making the Game Easier to Get Into (help the new players

Pause and give orders. Then you never have to worry about those 'new people'. They will never go online, thus keeping your pristine multiplayer pristine.
