Re: On solo campaigns ....
I'm really disappointed that we won't be able to play North Korea at all. I was looking foward to have to counter superior technology with superior tactics and special forces. The two korean campaigns will be played as the US and South Korea as always. How boring ... Sorry, but I'm very sad.

Re: Crisis in Crimea
And if you are against Crimean independence, where were you 1999 when Kosovo was split off illegally? And in recent history: Iraq? Libya? Grenada (US invaded the country and installed a new government in order to protect their citizens there - in reality they were afraid of the english speaking mar...

Re: KA-50 vs M48 Chapparal (DCS)
The KA-50 may be very well armored but surviving a first Sidewinder detonating very close with virtually no damage, sorta surviving a second hit, and finally needing a third hit to go down? That seems messed up for a very realistic sim. Don't forget the warhead in the Sidewinder/Chaparral weighs ov...

I'm actually surprised it survived the first missile hit. It seemed to have exploded very near the Akula.

Re: Crisis in Crimea
If Kiev would have sent the tanks to crush the separatists after a lawful referendum and was starting to randomly shoot people in the streets, I'm pretty sure you would have get a pretty much big media coverage of that and the EU governments would be reluctantly pushed by their population into send...

Re: Crisis in Crimea
The problem isn't Crimea choosing independance or not. I'm always supportive of self-determination when it's democratically made (an honest and free referendum or near universal approval in the region). But if it's done under russian pressure and occupation, it's like Napoleon III asking the french...

Eating is too time consuming. Oh wait, the orders are starting this year. ! I'm excited. It's only for America now, though. Why Anglo-Saxons are so adverse at cooking and eating good food? Cooking is both fun and creative. It's also extremely rewarding to taste the result of your work. I won't even...

Re: Crisis in Crimea
As I recall, some empty buckets in a basement constituted clear evidence of a rebel chemical weapons program in Syria to Team Russia. Don't go joking too hard now. To be fair, you just described the Russian disaster response team for CBRN events, so perhaps they're getting the two confused. Re: Eve...

I thought this was the BAC TSR-2 who created this phenomenon for the Brits, like the CF-105 Arrow for Canadians.
