Re: The many disadvantages of helicopters

There is no easy way of properly modelling helicopters and having them be anything less than broken, unless SPAAGs and IR AA are absurdly cheap and plentiful in some way that would totally mitigate the helos effectiveness. Have drastically fewer of the ones armed with more than MGs. Price those wit...

Re: WG4 decks + gameplay discussion

Regarding mixed vs coalition vs national decks: I'd like to see player-made coalitions. Choose two nations and have an activation point penalty vs national, choose three and have a bigger AP penalty. Mixed should go away altogether, IMO.

This is always the best way to convince the devs to do what you want.

Re: An Idea

In the very early days of armed helicopters one of the test pilots took up a handful of rockets to try them out. When he got to the range, he lined up on the target, pushed the trigger and there was a loud whooshing noise but no rocket streaked towards the target. Perplexed, he fired the rest of th...

It reduces artillery dispersion and increases chances of IDing a spotted unit, too. Though those are far less important than the other two you mentioned.

Still does. The accuracy bonus increases DPS on small arms and machine guns.

No I mean it directly increased the actual HE value. SAS could one shot Hinds and planes.

That...doesn't make a lot of sense.

Re: ATGM teams, the most annoying units to play against?

Smoke to obstruct vision and cheap APCs to soak up their ammo before sending in good units.

Agree that they can be annoying when well placed, but not insurmountable by any means.

Re: On the rebalance of air-to-air missiles

How would the AIM-54 Phoenix from the F-14 fit in? Its warhead is ~60kg IIRC. 8 or 9 HE?

Minor nitpick: Your top two categories overlap in warhead mass: 35-49kg and 45+ kg. I take it the latter is meant to be 50+kg?
