Re: What is going on at Eugen?

Even if the game mechanics were flawless, I just couldn't give a rat's ass about SD. WW2 has been done to death a million times over, and much better than SD ever could (I honestly still find Close Combat 2 vastly superior to SD). In Wargame, Eugen has something fairly unique going ... they should c...

Re: West-Germany (or hoping without hope)

and recon Tigre loadout is stupid What? Why?? I like the loadout as is. Keeping in mind that this is primarily a recon chopper, it can fight all 3 types of threats adequately. Stingers to assassinate a chopper if needed, rocket pods to kill the occasional infantry squad, and ATGMs to kill a tank or...

Re: Since WG support will soon be over, i was thinking into switching to SD.

The question is, why did Eugen Systems decided to make a WW2 game when the market is saturated with WW2 games, what is worse, despite being a niche, the strategy genre is filled to the brim with WW2 games. Couldn't agree more! I don't understand Eugen. In Wargame, they have something very unique, a...

Re: Since WG support will soon be over, i was thinking into switching to SD.

Although Modern Day got 47% of the vote for preferred WG4 setting, that's still not 50%. What I think that most wargamers really want is just the current cold war time-frame and setting, but improved in terms of depth, gameplay and balance. PRECISELY!! If Eugen could iron out the many quirks in the...

Re: West-Germany (or hoping without hope)

- I want my Panzerhaubitze 2000!!
- West Germany needs more than 2 tanks that can punch above 19 AP! There should be an improved variant of the Leopard 2A4 that gets the same 21 AP as the Dutch 2A4s!
- Where are the German Eurofighters???

Really? How? It doesn't have super-long range AA, but in all other compartments, EuroCorps has some of the finest AA in the game. Mistral + Crotale + Roland 3 + Gepard + Stinger = pretty darn lethal IMO.

Re: Why does West Germany get shafted so hard in this game?

1) Tanks, - Nations that that have 2 tanks, that shoot better than 19 AP {UK, Netherlands, Finland} - All other nations have 1 tank that can shoot over 19 AP. - E-Germany best Tank [Kpz T-72S] shoots 20 AP... In real life, I think the best East Germany had were a few T-72Ms ... most of their tanks ...

Re: Why does West Germany get shafted so hard in this game?

WTF do player statistics even matter?? I wasn't even saying that Germany is unplayable or even just a bad faction! All I'm saying is that some hard to fathom choices were made when the West German faction was designed, especially in the light of recent DLC.

I'm not accusing you of any bias; I'm merely pointing out some very serious and unfair flaws in the way Germany is currently represented in the game. If you want to dismiss me as yet another whiner, that's your call.

Not really asking for the Patriot (IMO it shouldn't be in the game at all). Just listing it to reinforce my point that Germany used both IRL and has none in the game.
