I dont think this is a good idea. Mortars, especially the high caliber ones (81mm,120mm) are standart equipment in every Division. You can hardly win without them. They are almost too good. Artillery is the backbone of your Army. I would hate if i had to switch every Mortar off to prevent auto-fire....
