Re: Make the USSR "Sufficient" Again!

Well, the Su-27PU as currently implemented in Wargame, regarding its ASF role. is not what the soviet Su-27PU should actually be. The decision that led to the Aircraft that we see in WRD was made after the fall of the USSR and mostly because of the fall of the USSR. And I don't know that much about...

Re: Make the USSR "Sufficient" Again!

. The better way would be to remove it and as we already here the Mi-28 could be removed alongside the Ka-52,Su-27PU,BTR-T,BTR-90,T-80UM, which all are far away from cold war units imo (as they are not even planned during the Cold war), while actual cold war stuff like the T-80UD(1988,1993), "...

Re: MiG-25PD, MiG-31, MiG-31M Should have the potential for additional flavour

MiG-25PD should go to 1100 kph for additional flavour. The standard tactic for MiG-25PD IRL was to missile dump and then turn around and run away, as it has far superior speed to any of it's adversaries. The in-game portrayal of the MiG-25PD currently does not reflect this key part of the plane. IR...

Re: Bug/Inconsistency Thread.

Tank availbility issuses for the new patch, as first post is not fully correct. T-72B1 - availbility should be 0/10/7/0/0 to match other tanks that are the same price T-72B - availbility should be 0/9/6/0/0 to match other tanks that are the same price T-80A - fine, already 0/8/6/0/0, no need for cha...

Re: Make the USSR "Sufficient" Again!

nuke92 , split your post for better answering. So 4 IFVs with identical accuracy values From which BMP-3 is vastly superior to the others. Equiped with a LRF and crosswind sensor And only one with correct accuracy. BTR-90 Doesn't even have 2A72 IRL. Should have been armed with late 2A42. BTR-80A, B...

Re: Xeno's air tabs changes

All sources I've looked at state that the R-77 was made to be fitted to all variants of the Su-27. The Su27S is just an engine upgrade to an AL-31F. An engine upgrade doesn't affect loadout. No, R-77 was intended for -M variants of both Su-27 and MiG-29 and required radar upgrade for usage by the o...

Re: Xeno's air tabs changes

Another round of "gib Soviet Russia teh Mig-29 fighter" ;) If Yak-141 going to be re-rolled with ATGM loadout, and MiG-29 moved up in timeframe, can MiG take over Yak's current role and armament? Even with R-27T or ET, if R-77 are too fancy? Speaking about Yak-141, to my experience, 1000 ...

Re: USSR Marine Suggestions

Yak-38 only. Yak-141 would be very, very, very bad ATGM carrier. I've modded it to carry Kh-25ML once, on the earlier game version(don't remember exact version number now), to test it, and it was horrible. Too fast, too slow to turn, too inaccurate(to the point, when Mig-27M was superior)..... Yak-...

Re: USSR Marine Suggestions

It doesn't matter that the only mountain troops in the Soviet ORBAT were the 7th Guards Airborne Division... Its off-top here, but there definitely were other mountain troops formations in the Soviet army. I've seen mentions about at least one motor rifle brigade(mountain), stationed in South Cauca...
