Re: How do I change the unit portraits\pictures?

I have downloaded the modding tool and installed it. Created "awesomenewmod" and had a look at the directory contents. There does not appear to be anything but text files in there. The normal Steel Division directory does not seem to have unit card pictures either. Is there a format or fi...

Re: Where is that tricky AP value?

Default value for DistanceStepToGain1APLevel is 500 * Metre, so if I want to increase it to 200m, then I should change that value to 1000 * Metre or am I wrong? Hmmm, I'm not sure to understand why you would set it to 1000 * Meter, if you want you AP to gain 1 point every 200m you just have to set ...

Re: Where the different critical effects are listed?

Hi MrCrisps, I see for example one line saying : TCriticalEffect_AddDamage(Roll=(15,16) Damages=1.0 TimeOut=60 RepairCost=-1), What I want to know is at what do the TCriticalEffect_AddDamages, or the other effects, reffered to? Or in what file? Well, they're all engine-classes, so they are not defin...

Re: Where is that tricky AP value?

Hi WBA, Is it possible to mod tank main gun rate of fire and aiming time values and if yes, then how? You can modify the rate of fire in GameData/Gameplay/Gfx/Generated/Ammunition.ndf, find your ammo and modify TempsEntreDeuxTirs (time between shots). You can also modify TempsEntreDeuxTirs_Min and M...

Did you try with a simple new mod without any modifications?

round-pink-kirby wrote:I searched the base_77875 folder but there is no such file. The only file in the Steel Division\Mods\Utils\Legacy\base_77875.zip\GameData\Map folder is MapConstantes.ndf

This one is an old legacy version of base.zip. You can find the current version under Steel Division/Mods/ModData/base.zip

Re: [KIND OF SOLVED] Cannot generate a mod.

Hi round-pink-kirby,

It seems GameData/Map/MapPackMulti.ndf is missing in your mod. Can you please verify your mod folder. You can get it back from base.zip.

Re: Upload Mod Not Working?

Hi TheIdiot, Did you update your mod? Did you try to upload a plain new mod? Did you have any of those issues with a new mod? Since your issue is about config.ini, you can try to delete it (save you steam Id to reupload it), regenerate your mod (it will rebuild the config.ini), put your steam id in ...
